The Hoax Is OVER (But Will They Let It Go?)

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

According to Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby, the Covid test we have all heard about on the news, read in the paper, and discussed with our health physicians, is nothing more than a hoax. He claims the test, the PRC test, cannot measure viral load…which is crucial in the study of infectious disease. He goes on to state that we have all been lead to believe we’ve been in the middle of a pandemic. With this all said, he wants all lockdowns and closures reversed so the country can start to get back on its feet.

Key Takeaways:

  • The late Kary B. Mullis, who invented the PCR test, said it was unsuited for estimating numbers.
  • The WHO confirms the PCR Test is flawed, though they don’t say so in in such language.
  • There is no justification for the lockdown which has caused social panic, poverty and unemployment.

“If you took a trombone mouthpiece—which is a deep cup, quite unique to that instrument—and then replicated it one hundred times, one thousand, one million times… you still would not have a trombone.”

‘Jelly’ that could renew damaged knee joints

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

A jelly, made out of donated umbilical cords might stimulate the growth of cushioning cartilage. The Jelly, called Wharton’s jelly, will be injected into the knees of patients of osteoarthritis. Testing has been done on animals and has the potential of reversing damage to the joints. A trial will be conducted with 12 patients at first. Osteoarthritis is common in millions of people, and is the wear and tear of joints as you age, are overweight, have a family history and sports injuries. Studies are being conducted in both the United States and the UK.

Key Takeaways:

  • Tests have shown that Wharton’s jelly may be able to reverse damage done to the joints in osteoarthritis patients.
  • The current treatment for damaged joints is painkillers that work as anti inflammatories but they can damage the stomach with long term use.
  • Scientists have also been trying to figure out if stem cells have the ability to reverse joint damage but more research needs to be done.

“Around nine million people in the UK have osteoarthritis, where cartilage breaks down, meaning bones rub together, causing inflammation and pain.”

Beaming infrared light into the ear could combat hearing loss

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

Infrared light, particularly near infrared light (NIR), already shown to be effective in wound healing, is now being tested on individuals to see if reduction in hair cells in the ear can be lessened or prevented from noise induced hearing loss. Mice and rats have proven the method to be effective already. Rats given the treatment in one ear had more hair cells than their other ear after being exposed to noise. Mice given the NIR treatment for ten minutes in a single session had better hearing after being exposed to noise opposed to mice who did not have this treatment. Experiments with human individuals are now underway.

Key Takeaways:

  • Research studies in the past have shown that infrared light can help prevent the death of hair cells which are essential to our hearing.
  • Most humans are born with about 15,000 hair cells in each ear and they deteriorate as we age and get exposed to loud noises.
  • Animal research has shown that near infrared light can significantly reduce hair cell loss if given for an hour each day after noise exposure.

“Now researchers at the University of Miami are assessing the effectiveness of infrared light delivered to the ear in reducing the effects of noise exposure.”

Coronavirus: Pfizer’s Covid vaccine is linked to MORE blood clots than AstraZeneca’s in the UK

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

Fourteen countries have halted jabs of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine out of concerns over blood clots. In particular, German regulators are concerned about occurrences of sinus vein thrombosis. However, statistics show that the Pfizer vaccine has been connected with more blood clots than the AstraZeneca, although both numbers are low (38 and 30) and not higher than normal. In comparison, rates of blood clotting are hundreds of times higher among those taking the Pill. Health experts (including the WHO) have supported the AstraZeneca vaccine, arguing that it isn’t clear it is causing more blood clots, and that its benefits far outweigh the costs.

Key Takeaways:

  • The EMA, WHO and UK government have all said the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe to use.
  • There have been 38 reports of blood clots among those receiving Pfizer’s vaccine, and 30 from AstraZeneca’s.
  • In Britain, there are 3,000 blood clots per month in normal times due to various causes.

“It joined the World Health Organization and the UK government in offering a full-throated defence of the vaccine amid fury at European heavyweights for suspending the jabs.”

Pork vs Beef vs Chicken: Why BEEF Wins by a Landslide over Chicken and Pork for Health Benefits and Environmental Benefits

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

There’s an intense discussion going on in global community about health benefits and environmental impact of eating various types of meat. We have been told that red meats are really not healthy, but also that environmental impact of raising cattle is quite significant. The comparison is usually unfair, because most of the chicken and pork consumed in the US are raised in operations where feed is almost all soy and grains, and animals are being raised indoors, with no exposure to sun or fresh air.

Key Takeaways:

  • First of all, the vast majority of chicken and pork in the US are raised in indoor operations where the animals never see any sunlight or fresh air.
  • Beef fat is also one of the richest sources of a particular healthy saturated fat called stearic acid, which studies show reduces your appetite.
  • So although grain-finished feedlot beef is inferior both environmentally and nutritionally to grass-finished beef, it’s still better than most chicken and pork.

“I’m going to show you why BEEF is actually significantly more nutritionally healthy for us (AND environmentally healthy and sustainable too) than any type of chicken or pork.”

The camera in the loo that spots bowel cancer

August 2, 2021 By Staff Writer

A small, high-tech camera that clips onto the toilet can be used to detect signs of bowel cancer. The camera scans stools in the bowl for signs of blood, then transmits data to an app on the user’s smartphone. The app uses AI to provide results within minutes. Based on initial testing, accuracy is up to 90 percent. In the UK, about 16,000 people a year die of bowel cancer. The current method of testing involves sending a stool sample in for analysis, but this is unpleasant and often inaccurate. OutSense, the maker of the camera device, hopes to seek approval for it within the next two years.

Key Takeaways:

  • Resembling a toilet freshener, the device uses cutting-edge imaging techniques to scan stools in the bowl for traces of blood — a sign of the disease.
  • If warning signs are identified, more detailed investigations may be recommended such as a colonoscopy, where a thin, flexible probe with a camera on the end is used to look for signs of cancer.
  • But some people find the testing process unpleasant and research suggests the kits only identify 70 per cent of tumours.

“The earlier bowel cancer is caught, the greater the chances of survival. More than 90 per cent of patients diagnosed at the earliest stage (stage one) are alive after five years, compared to just 10 per cent of those diagnosed at stage four (when the cancer has spread), according to Cancer Research UK.”
